Olawale, a Partner at the firm, who heads it’s Compliance and Corporate Governance Portfolio and co-leads its Energy and Natural Resources work, will be speaking at the 1st International Chamber of Conference (ICC) Africa Regional Arbitration conference, scheduled to hold between June 19 to 21, 2016, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Olawale obtained his LLB (Hons) in England (1991). He is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London, England. An adept public speaker, he recently delivered a paper in London at the UKTI session of the Global Law Summit; held in commemoration of 800thAnniversary of Magna Carta. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996, Olawale commenced his professional career in England with the Crown Prosecution Service; moving later to the Regulatory & Compliance Directorate of the Law Society of England & Wales. In 2002 he joined one of Nigeria’s foremost law firms where he led its Commercial and Regulatory practice. Olawale has advised and acted for numerous Nigerian and foreign companies, public and private entities.
