Steve is a graduate of the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, from where he obtained his LL.B in 2008.

A consummate litigation lawyer, with experience in diverse practice areas, Steve acquired his B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, in 2009 and continues to build on his certifications with his litigation experience. Since being called, Steve has defended clients in litigation and general dispute resolution matters in diverse areas of law.

A focused problem-solver, Steve approaches each matter analytically and meticulously, with an understanding that business goals shape legal strategies. He attacks each case with aggressively, tackling the challenges presented with diligence and professional competence.

  • Successfully represented a bank to recover a non-operating loan granted to a recalcitrant customer for the sum of over N  5 Billion.
  • Successfully represented a client in a recovery matter instituted for specific performance of a contract between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the client, licensed to import, install, vend and maintain prepaid metres.
  • Part of a team of lawyers briefed to handle a feisty chieftaincy matter involving the Emir of Ilorin which was eventually argued to the Supreme Court.
  • Part of several election petitions’ legal teams for House of Assembly, Gubernatorial and National Assembly election petitions.
  • Part of a team of lawyers briefed to defend the incumbent President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the wake of the plethora of pre and post- election litigations that ensued from his electoral victory notably challenging the educational qualifications of Mr. President.
