Ikenna graduated with a Second Class Upper from both the prestigious University of Nigeria and the Nigerian Law School. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013, Ikenna commenced legal practice as an Associate at the leading commercial law firm of Perchstone & Graeys (Solicitors, Advocate & Arbitrators). In the course of an in-depth and engaging career at Perchstone & Graeys, Ikenna continued to exhibit the requisite skillset and transactional experience of a 21st century lawyer. This resulted in his elevation within the firm, including to his present level as a Senior Associate.

Ikenna has gained the insights required to consistently create value to clients, enhance their interests, particularly in today’s complex transactional landscape including but not limited to areas such as Information and Communications Law (ICT), Corporate and Commercial services, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Cybercrimes & Computer Hacking Forensic Investigation, and Litigation. Furthermore, Ikenna has garnered assorted Corporate Commercial experience having advised major foreign clients and commercial banks on complex legal issues aimed at delimiting risk exposures.

Amongst these practice areas, He has developed a special bias and keen interest in ICT which is predicated on its emergence as a catalyst that appears poised to bring about changes in the way business is done across all sectors of the economy. In furtherance of this penchant, He is currently a professional member of the International and Local Branch of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). In a bid to broaden His knowledge of Information Communications System, He has enrolled for Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) organized by Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and due to qualify in December 2018; and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) organized by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) and due to qualify in March 2019.

Ikenna has continued to expand the frontiers of His practice by obtaining continuing legal education in diverse fields that complements His legal knowledge. He has several publications to his credit and a member for the Firms editorial team.


  • Team Member, External Solicitors to the Lagos Smart City Project; an initiative of Lagos State wherein integrated broadband and other Information and Communications Technology (“ICT”) infrastructure would be deployed and delivered across Lagos State.
  • Advised the World Bank Group on Protecting Minority Investors in Nigeria in respect of a ‘Doing Business Report’ project.
  • Advised Panasonic Corporation on post-acquisition restructuring of ITC Global Inc. and the Nigerian subsidiary.
  • Advising prominent industry players in Telecommunication and ICT Industry on diverse areas of law and regulatory issues.
