Bukola was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2005 having obtained her LLB in 2003 from Cardiff University, Wales. She is a holder of Master degree (LLM) in Energy law and policies from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, 2008. Bukola is well respected for her sizeable expertise in petroleum matters and related energy transactions.
She has worked on a number of oil and gas transactions and has actively participated in advising and reviewing contracts in relation to same. Bukola has a sound understanding of intricate and complex legal issues in her chosen areas of practice. She also has an extensive knowledge of the Petroleum Industry Bill and the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Content Development Act
Bukola has worked on negotiating a crude oil processing agreement involving an international oil company and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, interpreting key terms and provisions in Gas Sale Purchasing Agreements, proffering opinion to international clients on relevant legislation in Nigeria. She is well informed on the procedures for operating in the petroleum industry, compliance of regulations and guidelines of the Department of Petroleum Resources.
Bukola is also quite knowledgeable in corporate and commercial transactions and has participated in advising and reviewing contacts and conducting due diligence in relation to same. Over the period, she has garnered considerable knowledge advising on corporate finance transactions including corporate structuring.
Bukola, who is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, is also an occasional author with notable publications to her credit. She was recently elevated to the position of Head of Chambers at the firm's Abuja office.
