Seth Azubuike was called to the Nigeria Bar in 2014, having obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Abia State University in 2012 with a Second Class Upper Division.

His unique drive and enthusiasm for legal practice have led him to quickly develop capacity in the areas of Dispute Resolution; Energy, Oil & Gas, ICT and Banking and Finance, since joining the firm. Seth is a quick thinker. His ability to analyse provisions of the law with a view to proffer solution to client’s needs makes him an asset during brainstorming/debriefing sessions.

His interest in the development of law is reflected in his contributions to the firm’s Banking and Finance and Energy Oil & Gas Publications.

  • Advised a UK financial services firm engaged in Foreign Exchange on the operations of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market in relation to its business;

  • Team member - advised prominent Commercial Banks in Nigeria on the standardization of its security documents used for secured credit transactions;

  • Team member – advised a prominent UK law firm in a high-profile oil spill case instituted in UK Courts by communities in Nigeria;

  • Team member – advising and preparing series of technical agreement for the Special Purpose Vehicle established by the Lagos State Government for purposes of delivering/executing the Lagos State Smart City Project;

  • Advised and prepared series of technical agreements between a prominent electricity infrastructure distribution company in Nigeria and its national and international technical partners;

  • Involved in high profile commercial litigation, spanning from employment related issues, telecommunications, criminal offences, Banking etc., at superior courts in Nigeria;
